When the glass appears at her feet, she is wearing socks
Chronology
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident with a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is threatened by a mysterious entity. A few days before the September 30, 2022 premiere, the cast of the film appeared at various baseball games, sitting dead still behind home plate and smiling at the camera, still despite fans in the audience being understandably concerned, while wearing Smile shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show. Around 31 minutes in, Rose breaks the glass when the alarm goes off.
Rose Cotter: What are you?
Seconds later, as he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later in the party, there are a few continuity issues that may not be "bugs" but it may actually be intentional to show "breaks" in Rose’s consciousness/sanity… Why are you doing this to me? Monstrosity: Because your mind is so enticing.

The Paramount opening and closing logos have a curved smiley line at the base of the mountain. LollipopWritten by Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon The Chordettes perform. Sosie Bacon plays an incompetent therapist who mutters phrases and does exactly nothing while bad things happen to her patients. After proving her inability to provide basic first aid to anyone within a fifty mile radius, she catches a case of the ghosts.
This is silly nonsense, but it’s superbly crafted
The ghosts then follow her, being creepy and not doing much, perhaps as an ironic form of mockery. None of the characters, supernatural or otherwise, seem to be good at their jobs. Decent acting, good camera, tight editing and engaging direction. It’s a good time, despite the dead-headed characters, copy and paste, cringeworthy dialogue and endless clichés.
It’s worth a look just for fun
It’s a fun and occasionally effective mushy bouncy horror film – highly polished shit that’s so shiny you can’t smell it.
