James McAvoy and Mackenzie Davis share what elements of their characters they found most intriguing and complement each other as they discuss different approaches to the craft
Chronology
The family is invited to spend the whole weekend in a secluded village, but as the weekend progresses, they realize that the family that invited them has a dark side. The story is inspired by the Danish original Speak No Evil (2022) director Christian Tafdrup, who befriends a Dutch couple while on holiday in Tuscany with his wife. Although the Dutch were somewhat shy in social contacts, the two couples got along well, and upon returning home, Tafdrup received an invitation from the Dutch family to Holland. He considered it briefly, but decided it would feel strange living with people he didn’t really know; his story for the film came about when he unleashed his darkest fantasies about what might happen if he accepted the invitation (while insisting that the original Dutch couple never harbored bad feelings).

In this remake, the nationalities of both families were changed to American and British. While he is washing his eye in the bathroom, he has a subconjunctival hemorrhage in his left eye, in the next scene his eyes are completely clear. Ben Dalton: Why are you doing this to us? Licensed to Wise Music Group Limited Artist: Laura Branigan Licensed to Warner Music UK Ltd. Definitely worth seeing at the cinema – I had a great time watching this movie! The slow start is never boring as it carefully hints that something is very wrong, even though you can’t quite figure out what it is yet. You and your guests want to like these characters, even if they seem increasingly repulsive, and you wouldn’t dare be rude.
throughout the film
I was surprised at how much humor there is, but it doesn’t lessen the tension that builds like fire. Instead, it makes things even more surprising and anxiety-inducing, without even realizing it, you’re constantly on the edge of your seat, waiting for the inevitable to happen, but praying it doesn’t. And then when things finally get going, the third act really delivers on this film, and its range brings out the many emotions you experience while watching it. The film revolves around him, his ability to attract both the characters and the audience to scare them to death.
