Appeared in AniMat’s insane animated feature The Cast: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). I’ve always loved the DC universe and while I think the DCEU has been overly hated, I’ve been very disappointed with a few DCEU projects. This series has fantastic characters and is incredibly creative.
I think when James Gunn says that superhero movies and TV have become too generic, that’s the key
There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that when they see a new one, people don’t go to the theater because they think “other superhero movies are terrible, there have been too many”. like they’re all the same, just generic action movies (especially sequels) I think James Gunn is really going to change that and I can’t wait for that. I also think that because Marvel has been so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that haven’t been noticed (by fans) and I think if everything DC does works out over the next couple of years then the lesser known characters.
