At the age of 29, I personally experienced these historical moments while living in neighboring Yugoslavia, where the “revolution” was broadcast 24 hours a day
"Freedom" or "Libertate" Directed by Tudor Giurgiu (2023), and co-written by Cecilia Stefanescu, Tudor Giurgiu and Nap Toader, it is a notable addition to the limited corpus of Romanian cinema that explores the events of December 1989 in Romania.
Consequently, this film was essential viewing for me

I sincerely hope that this film receives the recognition it rightfully deserves, as it is a true masterpiece
This film effectively moves the audience through the continuum of time and space, but more importantly, by delving into the psyches of the main characters, it raises profound questions about the importance of moral ethics and the ability to maintain integrity in a dystopian world rife with corruption.
