Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope as we face the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film in theaters not to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be a streaming-only release on the streaming service Max. After the company passed on its release, the film was sent to other distributors, with GFM Animation eventually acquiring worldwide distribution rights and changing the film to a theatrical release. When Daffy demonstrates his knack for levers inside the meteor, he pulls the lever to start the machine and pushes it back up again. Porky does the same later in the scene. But when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine starts them anyway. At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig delivers his classic statement: "That’s it!" only to be interrupted by Daffy the Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the film and that they need a sequel. He appears in the film AniMat Crazy Cartoon Cast: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022). Mr. Bass Man Written by Johnny Cymbal Digitrax Entertainment under arrangement with Covered Records, Inc. I really enjoyed the film. The story is a bit, well, crazy, but what else would you expect from Looney Tunes, but Daffy Duck and Porky Pig works as a film. I have to say, though, that the action was very over the top. Sure, we’re talking about Looney Tunes here, especially Daffy Duck, but still. Then the joke fell out a bit for me. There were a few funny moments, no doubt about it, but that appropriate wit and humor that defines Looney Tunes was either missing or rare. But otherwise, I can recommend the film as a hand-drawn animated film in the modern era. This review comes from Germany, where the film has already been released.
